Resumen del Editor

As Lily and her friends continue their adventure, they are confronted with treacherous obstacles and dangers that push their skills and ingenuity to the limit. They must navigate the crystal caves, a maze of underground tunnels, and face dangers in the depths of the ocean. But they are not alone on their journey. They meet unlikely allies who join them in their quest to uncover the secrets of the lost civilization.

Their journey takes them to the temple of Poseidon, where they discover clues that lead them to the sunken city of Atlantis. Here they face their greatest challenge yet, as they unravel the secrets of the Atlantean technology and face betrayal and deception from those they thought they could trust.

As they work together to uncover the truth, they realize the importance of trust, loyalty, and unity. Their journey is not just about uncovering the secrets of Atlantis, but also about discovering the true value of friendship and trust.

With themes of adventure, loyalty, and the power of knowledge, "The Lost City of Atlantis" is a thrilling young adult adventure that will transport listeners to a world of wonder and excitement. It is a story that will inspire and captivate listeners of all ages and will leave them longing for more.

Just ok

Story is very underdeveloped & narration is bland at best. Story is choppy & lacking in detail. It has a great amount of potential but fell flat.

A Good Start

This book is for young adults, so I listened with young adult ears. The Lost City of Atlantis by Dorothy Vincent needs more focus and development for this age group. I see this book more for middle grades or younger, like fifth or sixth grade. The journey could have been compelling, but it was hard to connect to the characters. The word choice was good, but an emotional connection would have made it more convincing.

The narrator, Kristen Saburn, was great. Her inflection was upbeat and mysterious at times, appropriate for this book's young listeners. I found 1.35 the perfect listening speed, which made it very enjoyable.
