I want more Augustus!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and loved both how Augustus as the MC expressed himself and how KHS narrated him... and every other character! This story takes us to New York in the 1920s as Nightingale drops in on a former schoolmate and Folly colleague to enlist him to help with his mission. The time and setting give this story a totally different feel from the London stories, but Nightingale is Nightingale no matter where or when we see him. And Augustus more than makes up for the lack of Peter Grant. There is more than a little feel of "My Man Jeeves" to this story, but the twists in this one make it far more than a mere Jeeves knockoff. I would happily read any future stories penned by Augustus,especially if his crew of New York friends are involved.
