Great fun overall

Felt like I'm experiencing my childhood once again but with a grown up perspective

not what I expected but enjoyable

I knew of Chuck Klosterman from his short essays like sex drugs and Cocoa Puffs. when I started the book it wasn't what I expected and I initially didn't think I would like it. by the end though I really enjoyed it and I think he did a good job of connecting Trends in the 90s to things that are still going on today. I was afraid it was going to be overly heavy on the Nostalgia which I'm not a big fan of but instead I think it was a critical analysis of a decade and the implications for the future

Easy read and good nostalgia

Enjoyed the book. Took awhile to get used to the narrator but the content is great.

Can’t say enough good things about this book. A beautiful examination of the importance of the nineties.

This book isn’t just a retelling of the past, it takes you back to the time and mindset of the 90’s.

Everything he touches is fantastic. I really enjoyed this one, even moreso than the books that made him famous

Incisive and Provocative

Loved it. Captures the decade perfectly. Klosterman is at the top of his game.

A few good moments but the performance…

Maybe the print version would have clarified this - but what was with the random handoffs to some other guy to read a few lines? I spent too much time trying to figure out the logic. Overall - it was fine. If you were a teen or adult in the 90s, some of the book can feel tedious.

Great Book

I loved everything about this book!! The music references were not the usual pop standard bands and the authors delivery was perfect.
