Beautiful, whitty and appropriate for all

This book made me laugh and also made me tear up. It was an extraordinary and heart wrenching story and it was written in a way that made it possible for my young daughter to listen along with me. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it to everyone.

similar to Lion but a great listen

liked it. but the story was so similar to Lion...but it was more complete. enjoyed the start to finish and that it was true. great inspiration.

very interesting sfory of fate, courage and conflicting emotions. Knowing where you came from is always good.

I'm always interested to learn about new cultures and this book did the job. I always appreciate books that are based on true stories.

This was a great book. I recommend it to those looking for something engaging and worth their time.

Wanting more

This was an amazing and hard to believe story that I was excited to read. I wish that they would have gone more in depth of why or how he was sold or by whom. Would have also been great to learn more of how he adjusted during his teen years but I understand you cant fit everything into this book. Great read!

Couldn't stop listening!

This book made mye heart heavy at first and then I felt the heaviness leave as the atory unfolded. I was so moved by this story.

Beautiful Story with Excellent Narrator

Great story that is well written down well read. Amazing story of the human drive to find "home" and connect with who we are. Highly recommend.

Mesmerizing Story

Taj's story will engage your imagination and touch your heart. The narration is perfectly done and the characters become like old friends. Loved every minute!

Summary tells too much

The reader does a great job with several accents and voices, through it was read slow. The story is interesting and as a reader I was curious how it would all come togeyher at the end. But the summary tells us pretty much the first third of the book. So I didn't become interested until that point.
