Now an adult and a child psychologist, Dr. Dee-Dee Olsen Blanchard (from the novel Seeing), is drawn deep into the Florida Everglades by a spiritual vision in order to obtain critical information that she needs to save the life of her seven-year-old patient, Ethan Portman. What she unearths during her quest to help him is a horrendous nightmare beyond her wildest imagination when she discovers the farm of Earl and Maylene Tibbetts - uneducated, unkempt, backwoods farmers who are also serial child abductors and murderers whose deep-in-the-Everglades farm hides many dark secrets. After discovering a savagely beaten young boy chained to the barn ceiling in handcuffs and leg shackles, as well as five other children locked in dog kennel-sized cages in the barn's loft, Dee-Dee and her husband, David, risk their lives to remove the injured boy from the property and to save the lives of the five other children who are in extreme danger of becoming the Tibbetts' next victims, because Earl and Maylene come to realize the Blanchards are onto their devious and evil crimes against children. And they will do whatever they feel is necessary to prevent their atrocities from being made public - even if it includes committing more murders.

Loved the Narration! Sad Story! Good Ending!
This book had me going through different emotions, Im just glad the ending had a good outcome and the families though heartbroken over there losses can finally have closure.
