Abigail Devlin is a long way from home, but it’s better than being married off to a man twice her age. In a desperate attempt to escape an arranged marriage and find love, she goes to Montana to be a pastors wife.
Owen Lewis has suffered more than his share of heartbreak. After losing his wife, he must continue to carry the spiritual weight of his small town, but he’s not sure he can do it alone anymore. Not knowing what else to do, he begins writing letters to Abigail and eventually asks her to come live with him, but when she arrives, he doesn’t expect the refined woman he gets.

I’m not enjoying this author very much. I’ve read a couple of her books and they lack luster, they are emotionless, dull, and there is no way to even become acquainted with the characters. I have a couple more of her books. I’ll read them, but if there is no improvement, I likely will
