Great

A great read, but even better narration. Absolutely loved this audiobook. The narrators were excellent and kept me riveted throughout the entire book. Still prefer the written word, but this book may make me a convert.

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook the Narrator's did a great job with telling the story I really enjoyed how well written the story the author did a great job with this story I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook a lot.

Epic

I laughed and I got teary eyed while listening this book. It is an epic love story with all the drama that comes with it. Liam and Sophie are worlds apart. He is a genius on the ice and a player off the ice until he meets Sophie all grown up. She is his coaches youngest daughter and off limits. She is a medical student with goals of her own that don’t include a playboy hockey captain. This book is very action packed and filled with emotion . I enjoyed all the banter and discussion from all the characters in this book. I would give it more than 5 stars if possible

The bad boy and the premed student

This is book 1 of Defenders Diaries and I loved the story and the happy ending. Liam is the bad boy hockey player that falls for the coach's daughter. There is something about bad boy character that have me rooting for them to find love. The story was so well written that I got caught up in the book and could not wait to see how it ended.

Lost Me Early & Never Recovered

I’m really disappointed, because I usually love hockey romances—but this one just didn’t work for me.

There was one moment that completely threw me off: a chapter titled “No Means Maybe.” I get that it was supposed to be a joke, but it felt really off—and in the scene, the character was saying no, and he wasn’t listening. It made me uncomfortable, and I couldn’t shake that feeling.

I also didn’t love the FMC’s narrator (just a personal preference), and some of the male side character voices felt a little overdone.

By the time the third-act breakup rolled around, I was totally done with this couple—the drama felt too over-the-top, and the mom’s “advice” didn’t help either.
