So, he took laconic, plain-spoken New Englanders Habakkuk Ware and his wife, Melinna, who had raised him after his parents' deaths, and set off for Arizona. When they arrived, he met the rear end of a cow backing toward him in a clear state of hysteria, with ranch woman Gwendolin Carver attached to a rope at its head. Very fun engaging story

The Puzzle of Sidewinder Gulch by Clarence Budington Kelland has all the elements to make it a great fun read. Its got a solid story, quirky characters, comedy, love and intrigue. Waldo Emerson Whitelaw is a Korean war vet who wins a ghost town in Arizona in a biscuit company contest. Strange people start trying to buy him off and worse. Waldo has to find out why the land is suddenly so desirable. The great narration by Erik Stone makes the enjoyable story come to life. I received a free copy of this audiobook for my honest review.

A Western Mystery

This was a interesting and fun Mystery about a Young Man who lives on East Cost who wins a Ghost Town in the West in a contest. He is approached by a man who wants to buy this town, but are main character is Not willing to sell this town that he has yet to even see. Then he is approached by a different man who also wants to buy it causing MC to now want to find out why, thou the Mystery. Narrator does a good job with the characters voices and Storyline.
