Zen Alien Master Patrick Wrote a Fantastic book.

Fantastic book. Self Discipline is key. 🌵 Zen Alien Master Patrick wrote a great book that is filled with informative tips about how to master your self-discipline and make the most of the day. However, I think it should be said that I believe Patrick to be of an alien life form. He probably descends from somewhere out in the deep desert there are many very intelligent things in this book. Its very important that we need to believe that he is not of this world. I hope to meet Patrick when we storm area 51 together later in the year I've read on his blog that he is going to be leading his cult down into The nether void that is area 51 and together we are going to rescue the opressed race of aliens and free the universe from this prohibition of knowledge that has taken hold of all of us and has no forum.

Good material. Common sense for some.

Most of the material is covered was common sense for me. it's just a matter of self-motivating and it gave some good pointers!

Amazing Book

I got so much out of this book

I am so glad that I bought this book. What I like about it the most is that it's entire content is a long list of practical tools (strategies) to employ to improve self-discipline. There's a small amount of theory to preface each tool, and that's helpful for folk like me who like to know why I should try something out.

The 15 tools provided are helpful - and they are realistic and do-able. I have listened to the book three times, and have one-by-one implemented the tools that appeal to me (manage your time, commitment devices, protect your times, measure your progress). There are a few more I'll introduce in time. Most importantly we are told we must show up, and do the work.

The part of the book that I like the most is the setting the foundation. The tools are very valuable. However without setting the foundation it is naive and unrealistic to think that you'll either implement or maintain them. As a result I've spent time and effort setting up the practices of eating better, getting good sleep, exercising daily, and managing my stress (deep breathing).

I like that that book is only 2.5 hours long. It's a manageable length of time - and meant that I listened to the full thing over 5 days (during my 30-minute walks). It's a great book, and it's a valuable collection of tools.
