Motivational
I'm probably more enlightened than I am intellectual so the first 80% of the book I really understood and enjoyed while the last 20% I had trouble understanding. All in all, an incredible insight into the world of shamans.

Love it.
Carlos Castaneda's books were great companions during my trip to Peru. After listening to just one book narrated by Luis Moreno I couldn't resist to listening more and got whole teachings of Don Juan series from Audible.
I don't overthink too much is this fiction or not, we all can choose what to believe. These books remind about important things and help to balance inner and outer worlds.

This is a classic. Purchase a copy and read it.
The important stuff is in Journey to Ixtlan and Tales of Power. But, this is great for background info - and it's a great read, or listen.
