Wonderful!
I truly enjoyed the performance given while telling the story. I could clearly see what was going on as the story progressed thanks to the actor's abilities.

The Most Entertaining Narration

Classic story, told with flair!
I'm already a Poe fan so I'm familiar with this classic but the performer here (David Ian Davies) really brings it to life! It felt like Poe telling this story himself, as it was happening. If you've been wanting to try some Edgar Allen Poe, this is a great short story to start with, or come back to, over and over again.

great performance
I am obsessed with the dramatic performance and the old radio sound it has, but it's worth mentioning that the audio did miss some sentences.

A triumph in Storytelling
This reader of Edgar Allen Poe’s classic captures the madness of the murderer perfectly. As a middle schooler, I dismissed this story as fantasy from a twisted mind. As a fervent listener of True Crime podcasts today—- I understand Poe was simply describing those monsters that have always walked among us.
