uneventful story

This book was no where near as good as book 2. when it comes to excitement, action and a little mystery there was next to none. So unless you're looking for all love all the time, this book will disappoint you. It certainly disappointed me.

This book has moments of happiness, sexiness, dangerous, and romanticism.. I thoroughly enjoyed these series. so much fun!

Love the series

Tracy Anne Warren is a great storyteller. I enjoyed her Trap trilogy so much that I now look for her work everywhere. Although I enjoyed that series best, I strongly recommend this one as well. This is a short, but well written and read story worth the point. I especially love her passionate scenes and for those interested in a fairytale series, this one's for you.

A solid Finale

This last novel is about Ariadne. Through the first two, she is the independent, firecracker untamed princess. In the first novel, there was a hint the she and Rupert would get together. A clue like, 'these two don't like each other,' in novel one is sure to be a story-line romance in a later book. Sure enough, book three -- ta-da. Its a classic tale of determined woman and head-strong, stubborn prince. Warren manages to take this simple troupe and weave an interesting story. Although this third book has elements of the first two, she combines them effectively.

This is last in the series.I recommend the series. Its entertaining. Although all three books stand on their own, you will get more enjoyment if you listen to therm serially. These books are not historical fiction although their settings are historical. If you're interested is historical aspects through romance, this is not the series for you. Failing that, you will find these entertaining. A thumbs up.

Warren's books are always a delight!

Hearing Warren's books read was very enjoyable and relaxing. My stressful job dissolved into a wonderful evening. My highest recommendation to listen to her books!

Nicely done

From the time we first met Ariadne and Rupert in The Princess and the Peer, I knew they were destined for each other. I mean, two people cannot so studiously, and apparently, dislike each other for no visible reason. Rupert is a Crown Prince so of course he is going to be arrogant and overbearing, though really, no more so than the other two heroes in this series. It goes with the era. Now Ariadne . . . Yes, she is a Princess - of a county that no longer existed. She is also a very 'modern' and independent thinking young woman, a rarity of the era. But, none of those things truly explain the animosity displayed between these two fascinating characters. This story finally brings them together in a most unique way. This was by no means the sweet romance of the first two books. This one was quite hot and heavy. Autocratic. Breathless. The sparks did fly. "Be careful what you wish for," comes to mind. Not to mention, "Never say never." A rollicking "he chased her until she caught him." An altogether fun story. In case you may get the impress this is all squabbling and heavy breathing, there is a moment of suspense. Of course that too, ended in heavy breathing. There was even a point where I cried, but then there was a nice sigh. I do think this may have been my favorite of the three. I do have to say, that in spite of this series having a common theme, (the three Princesses) and I did notice some other things in common, (the breathy "open for me") each story was different. Each had its own challenges to overcome on the way to happy-ever-after. Especially appreciated for those of us who may be marathoning the series. Nicely done.

Best of the Trilogy

This is the best of the Trilogy. The first one was almost painful to get through, the second one was better, but this one was great.

Don’t waste your time!

All three Princess books had interesting starts/bones/plots but then fell short and were disappointing. There was limited character development and unlikeable characters. The women were painfully shallow and weak giving into sexual congress instead of holding their own. There were too many ridiculous sexual scenes and the stories were too long. Had to skip sections and was frustrated throughout all three books. The men were too chauvinist and domineering. The woman caved in too easily!
