The story is good the performance was good as usual. At least we heard from Niecy. I liked it.

Loved this book!

I loved everything about this book.

- Narrator who can successfully and distinctly portray a large cast of characters ✅

My one criticism is that with the audio. book it would be nice to have a written cast of characters because some of the characters have similar names and keeping them straight can get confusing. Not an over whelming problem though.

Readers should research pronunciation

Would you consider the audio edition of The Undoing to be better than the print version?

Love the stories, but since the narrator hasn't a bloody clue as to pronunciation of key Viking names, (SKULD is NOT prounounced "skool" and HELHEIM is not "HELHAIM"), the books are better. Makes one crazy to continually hear Nordic Mythological names and places< so badly pronounced... it's really annoying. Would love to return for a refund, but that isn't happening. I will NOT be buying any of the others...

No favorites... like them all.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Johanna Parker?

Anyone who could pronounce the Nordic names and places correctly....

Awesome Viking Chaos!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ski- he is a thinker, understands that he dislikes the Ravens, not because they are stupid, but because they don't have to be, but are. He gives support or space where needed without smothering, and he loves our girl, Jace. :) He's the complete BF- ripped abs, great brain, integrity, handsome, who wouldn't want one of those?!

Which character – as performed by Johanna Parker – was your favorite?

Characters, not just one- Johanna Parker does our Crows so well. Actually, she does all the characters well. Johanna is one of my top favourite narrators- she has such a great range of voices and acting ability using just vocals. Great lady! Thanks!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Bear took a liking to Jace's puppy, Lev. It's a very cute scene- no spoilers. I'm also curious about Grandma. Hmmmm.......;)

Any additional comments?

This is no novella- it's a solid 12+hour book. And the series isn't done yet! Yippee! This is great value for your credit or your money. I have everything Laurenston/Aiken has written on both audio and digital- obviously I'm a fan, but this series is excellent if you like your writing with lots of Viking Gods, crazy heroines, big bad dudes and action. Lots of action! Never a dull moment. Highly recommend this book!

good second book of the series

Great world building, unusual characters and dogs. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

For both guys and gals.

The joint pic between the male and female characters gives male readers something to connect too. Shelly writes in a style that has developed in leaps and bounds from her first published works. As a fan of mythical supernatural stories she is by far one of my fav. It doesn't hurt that her characters act like the near indestructible creatures they are. If I could slam by brothers face into a concrete pylon and know he would be fine the next day.... oh yeah, in a heart beat.
