Too much like a children’s book
I couldn’t decide who was the central character - Abigail or her year old daughter. Far too much attention was given to conversations with, and endless details about, the child. The narrator’s “little girl” voice was like fingernails on a chalkboard. I kept hoping it would get better, but ...
