Not my favorite
The bad accents to the ridiculous activities of the lead to the superficial character development in general- just a few reasons why I’m not sure why I stayed listening. However, I did like May and the Sheriff characters.

Another Nora Roberts “Must Read!”
Loved the story line. The twists and turns. The characters are always so perfect for the story. You will find yourself thinking about them while you aren’t listening. The performance is captivating as well. 5 star all the way around! Enjoy!

multiple times trying. wasted a credit on this thinking it was a new 2023 release and spent that many times trying to figure out what was wrong with this book? Scam. Don't waste a credit on this type of scam luring you into a book.

Not like N. Robert’s at all
I couldn’t get into this. I started and stopped several times before finally quitting at chapter 5. Characters weren’t even partially developed before they were at each other like it was a foregone conclusion. I mean, we know it is, but at least try to get us to give a damn first.

Felt like a porn movie plot without much porn.
Zero plot, unlikable characters and unbelievable plot. this was a ridiculous waste of time and money. it's very hard to believe that this was actually written by Nora Roberts. her earlier work is so very different from her later work. Don't waste your time or money on this drivel.
