Her daughter was lying unconscious in an intensive care unit, a victim of pneumonia and septic shock. Her husband, John Gregory Dunne, was dead. You Feel Like You Are There
The stories make you time travel and go to another location. Glad I heard her point of view and listened to this book of essays.
