But as anyone who has ever met her will tell you, in person she has wicked sense of humour.
Occasionally unintentional, like asking guitar legend Eric Clapton, 'Have you been playing a long time?,' sometimes sarcastic, and at other times downright silly, royal humour touches on every aspect of life, while always retaining a strong sense of dignity.

The title doesn’t fit the contents.
The contents of this audiobook doesn’t live up to the title. Queen Elizabeth obviously had a sense of humor; but the quotes from her are more mildly amusing than wickedly witty. It also seems like there are more gaffes from Prince Philip than comments from the Queen. His comments tend to be more rude than funny.

Yawn.
Nothing new and nothing witty or funny. Reads more like a wiki entry or a middle school book report stealing from other sources. The clearest sign it is simply a copy and paste hack job from other works is the re-introduction of characters over and over. Margaret Rose is perhaps the worst example with no less than a dozen re-introductions.

hardly any wit of the queen
I am an admirer of the Queen; who has managed to keep her cool and decorum through difficult times. I had hoped to find some nice barbs or funny stories -- the only witticism from the Queen in the book is her comment about Niagara Falls -- It looks damp. we are told about the twinkle in her eye and some of Prince Phillip's remarks, but mostly the book is the Queen has houses here; the Queen has gone overseas here; the Queen got excited at a horse race; she has dogs.
