SO GOOD

Wow, I finished this in 2 days. What a GREAT book! It’s been a while since I’ve heard/read such a great book. I can’t say how many times I told myself, “just one more chapter”.

Didn’t see that coming!

This was a great listen! It was free, lengthy, and had a surprise ending that I wasn’t expecting.

One of his best pieces! Daniel Hurst certainly outdid himself with this one and you will NEVER guess the twist. BRAVO!!

Really unusual plot!

Great book, grabbed me immediately. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys mysteries. Don’t miss this one.

I WANNA SEE WHAT SIMONE DOES NEXT

This is definitely one of my top reads by Daniel Hurst. I love a schemer and a revenge plot and this has both. Lately it seems like a lot of thrillers I’ve been reading the lead female character is always in distress and has almost no autonomy. Not Simone.

Simone helps women get revenge on their cheating partners in the pettiest of ways. She lacks empathy until she’s the one being cheated on. Her lack of self awareness though was annoying to me sometimes. Like girl, you know that you’re out here playing a dangerous game but you set meetings in the same cafe with every client yet paranoid that a regretful customer might come back to harm you. I was able to over look the ridiculousness because I was entertained.

Told in duel timelines, both have equal weight and I was invested in both. I didn’t guess the twist but it was so convoluted and contrived that I would not have guessed it anyway but I didn’t care, I was already locked in. And I loved that Simone didn’t learn her lesson in the end and still wants to continue her side job of vengeance.

Didn’t see the ending coming

Another can’t wait to listen to book by this author. Really good book with twist and turns but easy to follow

Great revenge tale...

Love everything Mr. Hurst writes. This was my favorite or let's say top five. The protagonist investigates men suspected of cheating. She leaves the profession behind, tones downs her look and decides to lead a normal life... then she discovers something about her own boyfriend.
Very enjoyable, easy read.

The plot twist is awesome!

The entire book was amazing! The narrator did a great job, as well!
I was hooked from the beginning to the end.
