Loved this story!!!!

Loved being taken back to this town with these characters. Merry and Clark story touches deep down in my soul. As a once single mom, I really connected with Clark.

From cute to disgusting

I was looking forward to another segment in the Winters family story. I was literally driving down the road listening when the "porn" scene happened. I looked to see if Audible had somehow started a different book. The description of their "lovemaking" (term used loosely) really made me not like the book. I not a prude by any means, even giggled at the voodoo pene storyline. But the crude descriptions during their romantic moments just didn't fit with the characters or the story. I hope the author rethinks that for Holly's story. I have a mind and can fill in the picture without the need for crude language.

Cute story, but

I thought the story was well written, except the intimate scenes. I feel like the writer needs to develop more when it comes to explaining erotic encounters. For example, just to write p, d, or c*ck were tacky. It was like listening to a hallmark movie and then suddenly being thrown into the raunchiest porn scene. It was almost like 2 different people wrote the book. It takes away from the experience. I sincerely hope the author or her team sees this because I am rooting for her. I hope she finds better metaphors and sophisticated descriptions to explain these moments.

Holiday Movie Turns R Rated

This book started out as a sappy Christmas story such as you’d see on TV and toward the end turned into an R rated novel. I’m no prude, but the storyline didn’t match the heat of the graphic sexual descriptions. It was very bizarre. Other pet peeve was how the 51 and 53 year old parents were protracted as elderly and toward the end of their time. I expected from the description and tone used for their voice they were in their mid-70’s. Another bizarre thing.

A little too naughty instead of nice.

I thought it was going to be a nice clean Christmas romance; however, the Story included several explicit scenes, the first I Fast forwarded and at the second I returned the book, honestly I’m surprised I got that far. The story was interesting but I found the main character quite crude and I didn’t appreciate the swearing either.

The Perfect Christmas Romance

Such a sweet couple and a precious story. A perfect listen for the holidays. Loved the narration.

Glad to continue at the Winter’s Christmas Tree Farm (this time) with Merry & Clark. A good story that has me laughing out loud at times. A great story!

Enjoyed this wonderful story. it was fun and kept my attention. Loved the characters.

Christmas in Idaho.

I grab this title because you have to read at least one Christmas book. I didn't read anything about it. When I heard Idaho in there, I already fell in love. It was a sweet story. I really enjoyed the parents. I had to read about the author. I related to the cute story and enjoyed it.

The story about nothing

I listened to Codi Hall’s book Nick and Noel’s Infinite Playlist last Christmas and loved it. I was so excited when I saw she wrote another book about characters related to the first book. But goodness. If a book can be ranked in order of cheesiness, with 10 being the most cheesy, this is an 11. Predictable, lacking any real tension, underdeveloped characters, and a splash of raunchy sex scenes are what make this cheese, I mean book, truly awful. I love romance books. I really do. But if I ever met a man who claimed he loved me after a week, carved a wooden ornament for everything we ever did together (in the month I knew him) and kept “cupping my face” every time he kissed me, I’d run away faster than melted cheese down a hot glass mountain.
