Under dirty black skies, the town of Dead Crow is deluged by days of rain, flooding the streets and cutting it off from the outside world. Chief Andy Curran already has his hands full, getting residents to safety and battling a greedy mayor. But now people are going missing in the endless rain. Curran soon discovers that there are things living in the overspilling river that threatens to drown Dead Crow. Very interesting story that keeps you wanting to continue. Characters are well thought out and interact great together. I found myself rooting for some characters and wishing death on others, which is the point in stories. Also the ending was great and hope there will be another.

This book had my son staying up late to read it he couldn’t put it down! It’s not just another jaws but like a cousin of the novel. This book contains horror and action around every corner, the book does however the book does contain some language that I got a little worried about. Other than that the book is amazing

REALLY Good!
Fans of Jaws will notice many similarities, but this story also has some influence from Moby Dick.
The story is very detailed in the description of the shark, how it swims, resting patterns, etc, etc. I do not enjoy stories that involve animal cruelty and warning, there are a few times when this happens but it’s only to illustrate man’s greed. If you’ve ever watched any National
Geographic documentary about ocean life and apex predator behavior, then you won’t be surprised about some of the book, but it’s still hard to listen to.
This book is well paced and narrated. Very action packed and vibrant. Loved this book!

Outstanding character development.
I enjoyed this book a great deal. Character development very good. The narrator sounded like Clint Eastwood, which was great. A well done Dirty Harry clone.

Great from start to finish
I enjoyed the story and the narration. I was entertained the whole time. The characters were easy too root for and the villains were easy to dislike. I would recommend this book to anyone.
