Had me hooked beginning to end.

One of Aron's beat works. Really wish we had closure on Red's "daughter" though.

Great book.

Loved the coin flip for the ending. Always a great story that keeps you interested.

So gross but I loved every second of it

I have read/ listened to many of Aron's books, huge fan, but this is the first one I had to pause and take a break on cause it was too much at once, haha. I really enjoyed the story line and the details were perfect.
Choosing my own ending was pretty cool too, I haven't seen that done in awhile!

As twisted as expected

Aron never disappoints. Sick and twisted, demented and stomach turning. The shit of nightmares. Amazing

Disgustingly vivid

This is not for the easily disturbed. Beautifully horrid imagery. I honestly couldn’t put it down.

Great story

Amazing story. was hooked right from the beginning. Loved the idea if multiple ensigns.
Will get the Black version next.

umm...yeah

This book was definitely a book. there were pages and words, and someone decided to read those words out loud.

All kidding aside, I did enjoy this book. it was captivating and intriguing and held my attention the entire time. There were definitely some scenes in this book that made me feel sick, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

This was probably my first full blown extreme horror novel and I was hesitant when I started, but I was pleasantly (or not so pleasanlty) surprised that it wasn't that bad.

Dark

This is a dark and intriguing read that I couldn’t stop listening to. Now I’ve got to listen to the rest of the tale

Great Story

If you were able to take out the extra gory and gross bits, the basic premise of this story is amazing. I was really rooting for Red throughout. Aron did it again 👍🏻

Plot 🔥🔥🔥

I thought that this was one of the most unique books I’ve read in a long time. It wasn’t just about the gore, it was the characters that drew me in. I cared about Red, Desi, and Red’s mom! I would love to know more about what happened after the book ended. Also, the coin toss was such a cool element.
