Because obeying God makes sense to us, in most cases, His laws appear reasonable and wise, and even when we don’t want to obey them, we usually concede that they are good for us. Foundational and Transformational

Listened to this as a believer of 38 years and it revitalized a trust in God that was sorely needed. Not revolutionary truth, just a survey with some in-depth looks at truth I was already familiar with just needed it all connected together in one focused study

Will Definitely Listen Again!

Jerry Bridges does an excellent and thorough job explaining both the sovereignty and goodness of God. He doesn't dare suggest he knows all the why's of God's ways, but ensures the reader that God's ways are always for His glory and our good, therefore, we can and should trust Him.

This book has given me perspective on the sovereignty of God and how He is with us even when we might doubt it!

Excellent book and reader!

This was one of my favorite books on audible - every aspect of trusting God was given and helped me in my walk with the Lord. Through the good and the difficulties God is trustable and faithful! I am going to get this book to read on my kindle as well.

Truth filled

Full of God’s word and scripture based truths. Sometimes the reading felt a bit dry but cannot fault the content. Overall a good read.

This book is life-changing!

This book was incredibly written and well thought out in addressing the question "Can you trust God?" The did an excellent job in addressing the sovereignty of God from every possible facet. The bulk of the evidences provided are not opinion based but very much scripturally based, which makes this book so powerful and life-changing. If you haven't read it yet, why not do so now? You'll experience greater peace in your life as well as greater confidence in Almighty God that he is fully trust worthy in any and every situation!

Lay my burdens before Him

The narrative and the message was on point. This gives the reader much more information to place within our thinking. To get ourselves right in the time of adversity. Struggles to keep our spirit focused on His Holy Spirit.
