Not her best
Macintosh is one of my fave authors. This story didn’t have the same fun and tension as the others. The main character is tiresome and immature, but not in a cute way. There’s also a lot of time spent poking fun at vegans- I’m not one and still found it to be excessive and childish.

Wanted to like it….
I usually love PM’s books but this was over the top drinking. Every chapter. The FMC is such a mess I felt like she needed rehab and to mature before she could possibly engage in a real relationship.

Overall a fun book
The use of the word “bird” to describe a woman (100+ times) was annoying. I’m also confused about Millsy and his timeline. Maybe I’ve read the books out of order?!? But otherwise, I enjoyed the story and the terrible decision making of the main character. It was funny and mostly enjoyable.
