Family cohesion & support.

Liked the plot tie ins from beginning to end & Vaz’s humble nature in contrast to his intellectual & physical prowess. Disliked the over emphasis on that power being the source of all the families blessings; would have preferred greater recognition of the others contributions- leaves a slight sense of “showy” or false humility. Still a very good read, Thank you Lawrence👍🏼👍🏼

Amazing Read/ Listen

This author is an automatic buy on everything he puts out for me. I️f you love stories of the underdog coming out on top you’ll love this.

Vaz is a charter that I️ never knew I️ would come to enjoy so much, I️ look forward to the next installments of this series.

Great book.

What a great science book it's fun and interesting anybody interested in science should read it!

I really liked the character of vaz. he had wit and charm and had a sense of wonder about his research that was very appealing. As a result there was a lot of nerd speak in this book discussing technical details that were just blah, blah, blah to me. however I did not find this detracted from the story.
What did make me sad was the ending which became a good guy vs bad guy trope. I would have liked less guns and more story, even if it was more nerd speak.

Couldn’t put it down

I am a picky listener. If a book doesn’t hook me, I usually can’t get through it. This one surprised me! I got hooked and couldn’t stop.
