Resumen del Editor

Frank Rivera is an advocate for not only Sarcoidosis, but also for the rare disease and chronic pain community. This audiobook is about how to rise above adversity and the strength of one person.

One person can make a difference if you work hard. Frank has dealt with adversity as a child with leukemia. His mother having health issues herself taught him strength and love. He fought through tough times during his childhood to only find out as an adult, after misdiagnosis, he has a rare disease that has no cure. Even with all of that he still says Sarcoidosis (his rare disease) has made him a better person.

Knowing what he has been through he fights to make life better for other rare disease patients. His fight has been hard but he still goes through his life with strength and a smile. Now he is truly fighting for his life!

This audiobook is an uplifting audiobook about triumphing over adversity. As Frank says he had two options "I could roll up in a ball or I can fight. I chose to fight and inspire, even if it is just one person. Don't ever judge a book by its cover".

Not a helpful book

The author is sidetracked with his wealth of awards and recognitions. What is missing? Information on Sarcoidosis!!!!! How it showed up in his life, what his symptoms are, were etcetera. I am calling audible today to return both the books I downloaded from this author. It is a shame that there is not more in the description of these titles. People who look this subject up are searching for understanding of what they have or someone close to them has. Not really interested in how special the author is. Not to discredit that this author is a patient advocate, just that paying for a book that is about Sarcoidosis, and the path of individuals, this seems to really more than a little, come up short.
