Couldn't stop listening

I liked this book much better than the first! I had a much easier time following all the characters. The author and narrator did a great job with the "fight" scenes and I could picture everything and felt like I was watching it in person

excellent continuation of Mason Zeus and Rene

this is my 2ns Joshua Hood and I almost couldn't stop listening. fast paved dull of twists and characters come to life. loved it

Warning Order

Ten Stars! Could not put the book down such believable characters and riveting action. Felt like I was in the middle of the war as my pulse and heart rate quickened. Looking forward to the next Joshua Hood thriller.

Enjoyable, but a little predictable

I enjoyed this book. The reading was well done, and I will read the next version of this.

Surprisingly good

By far the best books in the free section. Agree that not every military person should have such a twang in their voice, otherwise enjoyed the narrator . Well written. The dirtiness and toughness of the past experiences come through. Both books are great

Good story but short

This genre suffers from the “comic book / paperback” perception of quick reads associated with a young male audience some 30 years ago. Today, in Audible in particular, these short books get overlooked unless they are stacked in an omnibus. It is really too bad because the author shows skill at creating believable characters and semi-reasonable stories that are enjoyable to read. The reader did great and became a key part of the audio book. He was certainly enabling and uplifted this book.

lot's of quick action, multiple layers of betrayal of the USA by those charges to protect it.

per the above the action is great and the story moves along quickly with complicated multiple betrayals against the US. However, it was often hard to keep track of who was doing what with very vague transitions to something or somebody else. Overall, I enjoyed the story! 😃

Mason King's revenge

The friendship between Mason and Zeus is intriguing. I also like the way the author has interjected Renee into the Mason and Zeus' relationship. Good storyline, enjoyable.
