Was braucht man für einen Neustart im Leben und das mitten in der Weihnachtszeit? Klar, ein paar Wünsche. Doch Lene glaubt längst nicht mehr daran, dass Weihnachtswünsche wahr werden. Schon gar nicht in dem kleinen Dorf Winterberg, wo sie samt ihrem kleinen Sohn, einer verrückten Mutter und einem tragischen Vorfall mit einem Hasen im Gepäck anreist. Denn zwischen all dem Chaos muss sie auch noch herausfinden, was sie eigentlich im Leben will. Natürlich ihren Sohn glücklich machen. Da ist aber auch die Leidenschaft fürs Backen, ebenso wie ihr Traum von einem eigenen Café.
Widerwillig lässt sich Lene in einer feuchtfröhlichen Nacht dennoch dazu hinreißen, einige Wunschbestellungen an den Stern der Weihnacht aufzugeben. Soll er doch mal zeigen, was er kann. Und prompt landen die Wünsche auch noch im Garten ihres attraktiven Nachbarn Josh. Der bietet sich bereitwillig an, einen ihrer Wünsche gleich zu erfüllen. Ist ja nur ein Kuss, denkt sich Lene, doch der stellt alles auf den Kopf. Zwischen Puderzuckerträumen und Sternenstaubchaos werden die Karten im Leben ab und an neu gemischt ...
Ein turbulenter und herzerwärmender Weihnachtsroman, der zeigt, dass manchmal selbst die verrücktesten Wünsche wahr werden – wenn man sie nur ausspricht!
