Different enough

This set is just different enough to be wonderful to listen to. It doesn't always end up where you expect the story to end up. I really like the twists that she included in the stories.

I loved it all and want more!!

I enjoyed both series. Each book built up to the next but was also a stand alone story. When I get to the end of a book/series and I feel sad it’s over, I see that as a good read/good listen. Thank you!! Now I’m heading to find more from Pamela Fagan Hutchins. I can’t wait for more 😊👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The twists in the story and the unique plots

Liked this series. I was unsure about the Emily stories at first but really liked them. The supernatural in the Katie stories was a perfect complement to the island theme

Squeak

The story were intriguing. The many characters wove quite a web of mystery. The only thing I did not enjoy about the second group of stories was the performer's voice. She gave every character such a high squeak y voice, even the male characters, that it became very annoying. The first group of stories were performed by by the author. She did an excellent job with the voices.

great characters and wonderful accents.

I really enjoyed the two friends mixed in the books. I loved the various accents portrait by the chapters and how the reader voiced them. However, I felt that the female characters were brave and strong one minute but almost helpless the next which didn't feel accurate to me.
