It was John Wesley who coined the phrase “agree to disagree” in a memorial sermon at the death of George Whitefield in 1770. Since that time, Wesley’s theological descendants have often seemed to disagree more than agree. Different perspectives From church scholars
I really enjoyed the different perspectives with each chapter written by it a different person. I was so enthralled that I stopped taking notes because I couldn’t take them fast enough and still focus on what was being said. So, I will need to buy the book!
