Good overall story, it fills in all of Stacia's perspective. Really good insight. Super slow on the voice actors part (definitely not a Vermont, New England thing). Increase speed to get beyond this.

the series don't stop making more books. I understand completely what reviews mean about voice actor, however she is good just had big ass shoes to feel. names being off did throw me. Just a thought but if 6ou are going to keep using her for some maybe do a duel narration to help esy it some.

Great story!

Really good filler story but not a stand alone. Because I have read the other books in the series (multiple times), I was able to follow along. I enjoyed not having to rehash the earlier tales to get this story. I think it might be a little difficult to follow if I hadn't already been a follower of the Demon Accords.
I wasn't crazy about the narrator, but I'm not sure if it was just my opinion or if others might agree.

Love John but please do some new work

I do think John is my favorite author but please do some new projects. I understand if the demon accords is played out but i enjoyed your other work as much. Everyone else has already covered the reader,.

Interesting

I guess we are working on a greater character development for some of the primaries in the series. Which is pretty good since it keeps the stories themselves from being too long.

what no James Patrick Cronan?

I can not believe that they tried a new narrator. whom did a decent job but this series is narrated by James Patrick Cronan. probably trying to save a couple of bucks. I would have rather waited than have a new narrator.

Not quite up to previous books

Several of the books and stories from The Demon Accords repeat parts of the storyline from the perspective of a different character. Those are not my favorite books because I know the story so well. I warmed up to this book when it progressed to new events. I never did quite warm up to the new narrator. James Patrick Cronin is a tough act to follow.

Great story

Liked the background information it provided. it did an excellent job of providing details not previously known about.

Very nice returning if the story from Stacia's perspective.

While I've enjoyed JPC's Madison if the series this far, this narrator did a terrific job and only had a few mispronunciations. Her voice fit the character just fine. My favorite parts were mostly those with Katrina as her reactions were unexpectedly entertaining, particularly with how well we know her after she had her own back story. I also really enjoyed watching her relationship with Declan develop in more detail.

Good filler novel, read Demon Accord series first though.

Well it’s hard with a brand new narrator to tell characters apart a lot.especially after listening to ALL the others in a different voice. I feel there were huge amount of missed opportunities to tell *new stories, not just repeat all the same events but from her POV. Something was missing from it,can’t put my finger on it. The characters behaviors are dulled down. The “love story” makes it seem very casual. In conclusion, if you’ve read the Demon Accord series, you kinda should read this book.
