Funny while still being touching

I enjoyed this book. With Shawn, the author, being a comedian, he is able to relate his story with a sense of humour. Yet, the book is both educational and inspiring as Shawn tells us how he had to adjust to his new limitations. This book would not have been the same without Shawn narrating it. He did a great job!

Simply Amazing

Not only is Shawn's story inspiring, but I also learned a lot. I love to geek out on things and the way that Shawn explains things is impeccable. I have gained a lot of insight from this book and have been able to apply that to my own train wreck of a life. Shawn has made a huge difference, he truly cares, and sharing his story is just one small part of how amazing he is.

This book was amazing!

I have known Shawn practically my whole life and have read his book dozens of times. He is the real deal. No lie. He has this amazing pull and just draws people in. He always makes you laugh and the book really makes you realize nothing in life is insurmountable. If you are ever in Utah or somewhere you can see him perform or speak I highly recommend it. I've given away so many of these books after I read them because people will see me reading them in the airport or hear me laughing and ask what it's about. I just give them the book and buy another copy because you have to read it to get the whole story and learn just how amazing Shawn is. Like I said, in all my 50 plus years in this world I have never met anyone like him. He is THE REAL DEAL. No bull poop. Just bares his life open and you feel everything he went through. Even if I didn't know him I would still encourage others to read this. Especially, if like myself, you are facing a freaky health issue. We all know how helpless that can make you feel and Shawn brings hope and a fresh perspective that I just adore. Happy reading!!!
