Good love story!

Quick and easy to listen to. Wished the characters would develop a little more but it’s good!

Pretty good

Well written, contains the right amount of drama. Not overly loaded but enough to satisfy the need of the reader

Kept my interest

Enjoyed the twist and turns in this storytelling series and it made me feel so good about it all

And spicy! Whew! Only thing I didn’t like was the female narrator doing the male voice. It sounded too dopey.

Twists, Turns, Love, & Sexy Romance

Loved this book!! It kept my interest from start to finish. There was depth which enticed me to keep reading and I didn’t feel like there was any of that “extra fluff/filler” that some of the other books I have read lately, have. There was a good storyline, you could follow the characters, and the different twists and turns kept things interesting. There is a real love story with sexy romance!! Would recommend this book and look forward to reading more from this author!!

This was OK....

Total overall for me, this was a 3.5

The story was pretty decent, and the back story/things that come to light were interesting, However, the tie to his Dad and hers..a little bit of a stretch to make that happen.

Jacks' political run was a bit much, especially since it was in a whole other state. Not to mention moving the corp office to where he did..that made no sense to me.

Nelson Hobbs is one of my top narrators, and he is the sole reason I listened to this. I did not think there was enough of him to be honest.

The romance between Stevie and Jacks was nice..but nothing that made me stop and be like DAMN.

Was there some really good spice..YES. So if you are looking for more spice than great story, take a listen

Accents

I liked the book in the story and the voices overall. However, the accent with which one speaks does not change after about age 13. For this reason, the voices in the story didn’t always make sense to me. The Southern accent was dreadful, but it is even when it’s accurate.

Ugh! Had potential but…

Fell flat. So many sub plots that were set up and sever pursued. More could have been done with the father’s greed, for example. There could have been a lot of suspense going on. Also, the dialog was just ridiculous. Some was just too proper for the “class” of the character. Other verbiage was just eye-rolling! Too dumb for the situations! Just NO on this book. I’m glad the author hasn’t author hasn’t wasted more money on narrators for other books for Audible!

It's ok

The story is ok, nothing exciting, no gotchas, no steamy sex scenes, no big mystery, nothing really that makes it stand out from other books. It's written well, even if the author does sometimes take a bit too much time describing inconsequential things, and the voice actors do a good job although a few times it was difficult to understand the female voice actor when she was portraying a male, usually at the beginning of a sentence. A couple/few words would be unintelligible, no matter how many times I listened to it. All in all it's a decent book but nothing memorable. You will enjoy it but don't spend money to read/listen to it. Make sure it's a freebie.

Could have been better

I absolutely hated the female male voice. We heard more from her then the male voice. Wish we had more from him. I would have given more high marks but the female voice really throw it off. I had a hard time connecting with the story because of that. I only have two more hours on it and might as well finish it. This story could have gone far but yeah, again the female to make voice didn't help this story at all.
