Twist and turns
I've loved this series from the first book with Sara's great writing taking me on an adventure through time. It's filled with spicy scenes, surprising reveals and sending my emotions on a roller-coaster ride. Characters I loved I now question, and characters I completely loathed I actually feel sympathy for! I'm excited for the next 2 books!

Rich, deep, complex.
Sara Samuel's is an outstanding storyteller. This story added depth to Balthazar's character in unexpected ways! Each book in the series gets better and better as layers unfold. Bravo, Sara!
Liam Price's narration was exceptional. He really embodied Balthazar. I could listen to him all day.
Sarah Sampino's narration was nothing special but it did not detract from the story.
Again, great job Sara Samuels. You brought this villain story to life!

The backstory of how Balthazar and Alina came to be is interesting and it makes you wonder who is the worst. Familiar characters make an appearance and brings a whole new understanding to how these characters came to be.
Sarah Sampino and Liam Price are some of my favorite narrators and they didn’t disappoint. They do an amazing job bringing these characters to life.
