Historia
When we seek an example of great leaders with unalloyed courage, the person who comes to mind is Winston Churchill: the iconic, visionary war leader immune from the consensus of the day, who stood firmly for his beliefs when everyone doubted him. But how did young Winston become Churchill? What gave him the strength to take on the superior force of Nazi Germany when bombs rained on London and so many others had caved? In this landmark biography of Winston Churchill based on extensive new material, the true genius of the man, statesman, and leader can finally be fully understood.

As the 32nd president of the United States of America, Franklin Delano Roosevelt is a common household name in both his home country and the world. Roosevelt is the only president to have served for three consecutive terms and voted in for a fourth, a fact that allows him to stand out among the long list of American presidents.

Based on his early achievements, Aaron Burr, Jr., should have become an obscure but respected figure in American history. An officer in the Continental Army, a high-flying lawyer, and an influential politician, his career peak was becoming the third vice president in US history. But after all these achievements, Burr's name is now associated with corruption and cruelty. He killed a man in an illegal duel while in office, and interest in that man, Alexander Hamilton, has revived Burr's reputation as one of history's villains. Who was Aaron Burr?

The urgent need to honor the 56 Signers of the Declaration of Independence came to Douglas MacKinnon, fittingly enough, on the Fourth of July. While doing research for a column meant to remind the American people of that date’s critical importance, he came across example after example of those from the left and the far left—be they in the mainstream media, activists, or anarchists—calling for not only the “canceling” of the Fourth of July, but the continued smearing, censorship, and canceling of our Founding Fathers.

Resumen del Editor
"We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight on the fields... we shall never surrender." - Winston Churchill
Do you want to know why Winston Churchill was one of the most successful and inspirational leaders of the 20th century?
In Winston Churchill: A Life of Inspiration, we look at both Churchill's life in the military and his much-celebrated life in politics to better understand how he became one of the greatest British personalities in modern history. Was it because of his military achievements? Was it because he came from an aristocratic family? Was it because he convinced the world that Hitler must be defeated?
This book explains Churchill's roots and how they shaped his career later in life. Without much prodding, it was as if his life was meant to be in the military and political arena right from the start.
From his first attempt to be elected for a seat in the Parliament, to his iconic role as Prime Minister, this book explains how Churchill used his power to convince his fellow Brits that they must all come together to fight the oncoming German onslaught. He had single-handedly awoken the British spirit and eventually, the world.

Historia
The urgent need to honor the 56 Signers of the Declaration of Independence came to Douglas MacKinnon, fittingly enough, on the Fourth of July. While doing research for a column meant to remind the American people of that date’s critical importance, he came across example after example of those from the left and the far left—be they in the mainstream media, activists, or anarchists—calling for not only the “canceling” of the Fourth of July, but the continued smearing, censorship, and canceling of our Founding Fathers.

Historia
Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine and James Monroe were in the vanguard of revolutionary ideas in the 18th century. As founding fathers, they risked their lives for American independence, but they also wanted more. Each wished for profound changes in the political and social fabric of pre-1776 America and hoped that the American Revolution would spark republican and egalitarian revolutions throughout Europe, sweeping away the old aristocratic order. Ultimately, each rejoiced at the opportunity to be a part of the French Revolution, a cause that became increasingly untenable as idealism gave way to the bloody terror.
