Entertaining

This storyline was creative and intriguing and kept me hanging on to the edge of my seat. I loved how the author brought the essence of NOLA alive in every aspect from the food to dark magic and everything inbetween. I highly recommend this book and series.

the curse

I liked the quick recap of the previous book, as it helped jog my memory. I loved seeing the bond between Sybella and Demien and how they support each other through it all. Sybella is owning her path and her future. The descriptions made me feel like I was in Nola. Great world building. On to the next book for more answers. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Another great audio book

I love this series! The story continues and it does not disappoint! The characters are wonderful and the narrator did a great job!

Witch's Pawn

Sybella Rose is settling into her position of Queen of New Orleans, even though Demien isn't around much so he has appointed her a vampire like advisor, along with her friends, a ghost and a cat. But now she is after information about herself that is hard to come by, is she fea? If she is that might help dealing with the fairies that are trying to destroy New Orleans. But her father is no help so with friends old and new the hunt is on.

A perfect sequel to The Binding as it picks up right when Sybella and Demien come back from their trip, and now need to settle into their new lives. The action is non stop and there is suspense galore, but the best is being back in New Orleans, the food, the stores, everything, it makes me homesick to go back but my New Orleans is a older city. The narration by Teresa Booth will keep you up way past your bedtime as it is so engaging. What ever platform you choose I think you will love this book and if you are like me you can't wait for more.

An awesome follow up in an amazing series

Once again Victoria Clapton has created a follow up that lives up to the original! The world of the Binding is as rich with world building as it is with its fantastic characters with taste of New Orleans peppered throughout. The narration of this audiobook was very strong and had me on the edge of my seat. Very impressive work on both writer and narrator. I can't wait until the next one!
