This book should come with a warning in the description of the book!! Multiple Rape!!! It took a lot to get through this book. I love this author and the book is well written but it’s not for everyone. I would not have purchased this book if I’d known the contents.

Loved the story line, drama and twist

Trigger warnings are needed BUT it was well worth the listen. It is a great story with a great story line. The twist is even better!

so this story is alot to take in. Me thinking this is merely a bully romance this is way more. this book is an amazing read. a great story. the triggers are wow. but this story was worth it

I don't usually like high school drama romance, but this has very important topics that was very well written.

Interesting

JL Beck your mind works in an interesting way. I really enjoyed the suspense and your writing style. It was a spicy story that had me thinking. So important to let boys know they are safe and it’s ok to report abuse.

Good book

This was pretty good. I was not disappointed at all. Good story line I would definitely listen to again.

The trauma!!

The storyline of this book is trauma. That’s hard for a lot of people to hear and understand. You don’t have to understand it to empathize with people who experience it. Everyone deals with trauma differently. I’ve read mixed reviews on this book before reading it. The abuse it tells about, parental and sexual (both male and female) is a hard read, but it’s a true one.

I enjoyed the book and loved the audio recording. Wonderful author and all of her writing.

Good read

Good story keeps you guessing! Great job narrating. Wasn’t sure I could continue because of what was in the book but well worth it to finish. Not what I thought like I said keeps you guessing.

The heaviness I felt reading this was bone-chilling..

I can still feel the throbbing of the weight I held in my head and in my heart reading this story. I went into this book blind and was met with the harshness of a grim reality these characters were forced to endure. I’ve read heavy content stories, but this book still sits in the pit of my stomach, rippling every so often to remind me that it’s present.
