I enjoyed the author’s perspective and how she showed what she believed through the practical stories of her life. I struggle with legalism and this book has inspired me to practice spending more time with Jesus, even if that means simply sitting with Him in the quiet.

I’m still listening and I wanted to say thank you so much for writing this
I almost gave one star for performance because the major theme of this book is that it’s not about performance . I’ve been performing for far too long. Burned out in ministry, trying to please leaders with an “excellent spirit” but I’m done with my religionship and I’m moving to relationship. I’m remembering my first love again after one day of listening to this audible.. I’ve been longing for this.. I’m done because it is finished and I’m letting faith carry me the rest of the way..
