Once again I couldn’t just savor the book but had to binge-listen

I had thought to slow down and savor this book (since it only just was released) but I could NOT stop listening as the book unfolded! I desperately need the next one! I’m liking how the story - Maddie’s story and that of the sprinkled in ones of Val’s story - has grown over the last few books. Got mixed feelings about the ending, but I’m pretty sure they’re going to end up in the positive spectrum. Maybe. Hopefully. Until then, I’ll be on the look out for the next installment!

Love the snark

I love strong female characters that aren't always able to control their mouths. The humor is perfect when paired alongside the intense battle scenes.

Delightful, as always

Buroker and Leheny are the perfect duo.
Mattie and her elvish
assassin are magic together, (pun intended), with an interesting plot twist I didn't see coming.
What a great way to get your chores done -
listening to an entertaining audiobook
while you work.

I love this book and the entire series. Lindsay makes the stories so much fun. I love the quick wit and snark. I have listened to almost all of the books that Lindsay has writing, and they never disappoint.

My absolute Fav Author!!!!!

Lindsey has a way with words!!! These worlds and characters she creates... ohhh it just makes you want to be there! I love all the snippy humor and Hotty attitudes of the various characters! This particular book had me shed a few tears. I could feel the emotions some of the characters were having. It's a wonderful series full of action and love. It's a must read. And something must be said for the narrator! No one could bring these Characters more to life than Vivienne Leheny!!!

Easy Listening

I have always enjoyed this author as well as the narrator. A bit of a fan boy but I'm secure in my manhood.

I just find her stories easy to listen to. I almost always start with book one and listen up to the newest release. Time consuming, yes but I have the time.

Another great story

I really enjoy this author and her different series. This one is another fun spinoff and I love how the characters intermingle.

Lindsay is the best!!

Can't wait for book six after finishing this one. So good! I love the slow burn romance but all the excitement and intrigue too!

Laughing out loud!

I was already a lover of death before dragons and this series is almost an extension. The witty banter and hilarious commentary from the dragon and elf literally makes me laugh out loud. My only complaint is waiting for the next book to release.

Matti pulls out her skill as an enchantress!

Matti has'ta pull out all her skills as an enchantress and her plumber's toolbox to break into an exclusive dinner party... Sarrlevi’s dealing with his own problems as the madness he's slipping into, because of Barothla's poison. A poison she infected him with at the end of Tested bk4... Yes, Matti's aunt Princess Barothla is still plotting against Matti and Sarrlevi. And currently she has the upper-hand, always being one step ahead 'em.
So yeah grab this book and follow this paranormal romance. To see what Matti and Sarrlevi’s up to in this on going saga.
