Loved It

I Loved It! I was rooting so hard for Yinka and all the rest of we Yinkas who are constantly bombarded with the notion that we are not complete unless we have a spouse. I loved the characters and this book took me out of the reading funk I've been in. The narrator did a wonderful job.

I loved this book and the narration. A Sweet, feel good listen. I will be looking for more books by this author and narrator.

The story I needed

I’ve needed to read this like 10-15 years ago. Very well told and confidence booster as a dark skinned black woman.

Loved the message the book sends but too obvious and simplistic for me. Maybe would be better for a teen audience.

I went on the rollercoaster ride with Yinka and could not stop. Finished in one day!

Although I am married now this book was still so very relatable. Looking forward for more from the author!
I also appreciate the book was read by an Nigerian who can pronounce the names well. Well done!
