По поводу текста "Москва-Петушки" существует два диаметрально противоположных мнения. Одни считают, что эта поэма пособие по употреблению алкоголя, глупость и бред, не заслуживающий внимания. Другие, и их к счастью большинство, уверены, что это великое произведение о человеке, который в мире одинаковых и похожих людей, (не будем забывать, что поэма была написана в самый расцвет эпохи "застоя"), превратившихся в серую безликую массу, пытается несмотря ни на что любыми способами сохранить свою индивидуальность.
И вот, наконец, спустя почти сорок лет после первой публикации книги, выходит аудиоверсия этой культовой поэмы, в исполнении лидера группы Ленинград - Сергея Шнурова, чья оригинальность и непохожесть ни на кого другого, также как и в случае с главным героем "Москва-Петушки" вызывает сегодня противоречивые высказывания и суждения.
