Welcome back to the second episode of our podcast. Today, I wanted to clarify something right from the start. You see, I won’t be using a generated voice as my spokesperson throughout, Instead, I’ll be switching between this narrative voice and my own voice whenever I feel it’s necessary. I believe it adds a certain dynamic and authenticity to our conversations.

So, why the switch? Well, life isn’t always neatly scripted, is it? Sometimes you just have to interject, share a thought, or emphasize a point in your own words. And that’s what I aim to do.

Speaking of life being less than scripted, I’ve been going through a bit of a whirlwind lately. Between starting grad school, managing a business, juggling my day job, and recovering from a breakup – let’s just say it’s been a journey.

Yeah, the breakup was tough. It’s not something I want to dive into right now, but maybe someday we’ll unpack that story. Today, though, let’s focus on other topics.

As we move forward we’ll have dialogue and live sessions where you can join in, call in, schedule time to chat with me – Check out the links in the description to find out more.

So, grab a cup of coffee, wine, or whiskey, settle in, and lets ride. In the meantime enjoy a little bit of symphony

Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of "Dear Kennedy"! I'm Ken, your host, and I'm stoked to kick off this podcast journey with you all. So, let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm 36, and by day, I'm knee-deep in the world of open-heart surgery as a nurse. Pretty intense, right? But when the scrubs come off, I step into my other worlds.

Writing is my passion, my escape, my way to make sense of the world. It's like therapy, but cheaper! I pour my thoughts into words, whether it's about life, love, or the mysteries of the universe. And then there's my nocturnal side—I'm an explorer at heart. Not the Indiana Jones type, more like wandering through city streets at 3 AM, discovering hidden gems and stories untold.

Now, "Dear Kennedy" isn't your average podcast—it's a mishmash of ideas, stories, and experiences. I'm not tied down to one theme because life isn't one-dimensional, right? We'll dive into my own escapades, the highs, the lows, and everything in between. But it's not just about me; I want you all on this ride too.

Imagine this podcast as our digital campfire where we swap tales, debate the weird and wonderful, and maybe even uncover some truths along the way. You'll hear about my mishaps in the ICU, my midnight musings under the stars, and perhaps a bit of advice from someone who's seen their fair share of heartbeats—both metaphorical and literal.

And here's the deal—I'm all about dialogue. This isn't a monologue where I talk at you for an hour. Nope. I want your thoughts, your stories, your hot takes. Slide into my DMs, drop a comment, or send a carrier pigeon—whatever floats your boat. Let's make this podcast our little corner of the internet where everyone's voice matters.

So, whether you're listening on your commute, during a late-night study session, or just to drown out your neighbor's terrible karaoke, I'm thrilled you're here. Let's explore, let's laugh, and maybe shed a tear or two. Together, we'll navigate this messy, beautiful thing called life.

Have you ever had someone you deemed worthy of everything you wanted in a partner, only to find out later that they lied about who they were and what they wanted, all to take from you what you had because they lacked it themselves? This is a sad reality and a topic that needs to be discussed.

I strongly believe that liars should be called out for the truth of everything. Today, I’m referring to my last relationship. Before we get started, I want to clarify that I’m not creating this topic for pure malicious banter, but more for those who fall prey to these instances. It can be heart-crushing and stress-causing.

Why do people lie? Why do they feel the need to do so? Is it society? Peer pressure? Jealousy? Or are they naturally sociopaths?

Welcome, my followers, to the topic of Lovers and Liars.

In my last relationship, I experienced this firsthand. I thought I had found someone who met all my expectations, someone who seemed perfect. But over time, the truth unraveled. I discovered the lies, the deceit, and the manipulation.

It made me question everything. Why would someone go to such lengths to deceive? Is it insecurity? A need to feel superior? Or perhaps, as painful as it is to admit, they find some twisted satisfaction in watching others suffer?

As we dive into this topic, I want to explore these questions. We'll talk about the signs to look out for, how to protect yourself, and how to heal after such an experience.

Let's begin by understanding the motivations behind the lies. Often, it's rooted in a deep-seated insecurity. They feel they aren't enough, so they create a facade to lure you in. They present themselves as everything you've ever wanted, but it's all an act.

Peer pressure and societal expectations can also play a role. People feel the need to conform, to fit into certain molds, and sometimes, lying seems like the easiest way to do that. Jealousy is another powerful motivator. They see what you have, and they want it for themselves, even if it means deceiving you to get it.

But then there are those who lie simply because they can. These individuals often lack empathy and remorse. They lie without guilt and manipulate without conscience. This is where we step into the realm of sociopathy.

Regardless of the reason, the impact on the victim is profound. Trust is shattered, and the emotional scars run deep. It's important to recognize that it's not your fault. You didn't do anything to deserve this. The fault lies entirely with the liar.

As we continue, I encourage you to share your stories and experiences. Let's create a dialogue around this issue. By doing so, we can raise awareness and help others avoid falling into the same traps.

Stay tuned as we delve deeper into the world of Lovers and Liars.
