  • Alright folks, time to dive into your local forecast for 2 Miles SSW Carter Lake in Iowa.

    Currently, we're looking at a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight. Expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures around 74°F. Southerly winds will be blowing at about 10 miles per hour, with gusts reaching up to 20 miles per hour.

    As we head into Saturday, the chance of showers and thunderstorms decreases to 30 percent, mainly between 1pm and 4pm. The day will start off mostly cloudy but gradually become sunny with a high near 93°F. Winds will shift from the south to the northwest at around 10 miles per hour, potentially gusting up to 21 miles per hour.

    Saturday night looks to be mostly clear with a low around 66°F. Winds coming in from the northwest at 5 to 8 miles per hour, calming down as we move into the night.

    Sunday will bring us clear skies with a high near 92°F. Light and variable winds are expected.

    Moving into next week, get ready for some hot weather! Monday will be sunny and scorching, with a high near 98°F. South winds of 6 to 11 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 22 miles per hour.
