  • Hey there! Welcome to your favorite local weather report. Let's see what Mother Nature has in store for us in the next few days.

    Today in 3 Miles North-Northwest of Gretna Louisiana, we can expect a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, especially after 4 pm. The sun will be shining bright with a high near 94, but watch out for heat index values reaching as high as 106. The wind will start calm and then shift to the northwest at around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon.

    Tonight, there's still a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 pm. It will be partly cloudy with a low around 78. The southwest wind will be blowing at around 5 miles per hour.

    As we move into Tuesday, there's a slight chance of showers early on, but then it increases to a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10 am. The high will be near 93 with heat index values up to 105. The south wind will be around 5 miles per hour.

    Looking ahead to the rest of the week, we can expect more showers and thunderstorms at various intervals, so make sure to stay weather-aware and keep that umbrella handy.
