  • Alright, folks, let's dive into the latest 3-day forecast brought to you by the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Space Weather Prediction Center. Here's what's cooking in the atmosphere:

    Geomagnetic Activity: We've got a Kp index breakdown for August 27th to August 29th, ranging from 1.33 to 4.00. No G1 (Minor) or greater geomagnetic storms are on the horizon. So, nothing too crazy there.

    Solar Radiation: Solar radiation levels are currently below storm thresholds, but there's a 10% chance of S1 (Minor) or higher solar radiation storms from the 27th to the 29th. Keep an eye out for that.

    Radio Blackout: We've seen some R1 level radio blackouts lately, and there's a 70% chance of R1-R2 (Minor-Moderate) events and a 20% chance of R3 (Strong) events through the 29th. So, stay tuned for potential disruptions.
