Media fans include Vintage Guitar who said "While 21st-century Nashville pays lip service to this timeless sound, the Waymores keep it alive" and the Austin Chronicle asserted "The Waymores... combine the bright and brash like June Carter and Johnny Cash..." They recently released their full length, incredible album “Greener Pastures” The collection was recorded with legendary producer Shel Talmy. Talmy is a record producer, songwriter and arranger best known for his 1960's work with The Who, The Kinks, David Bowie and many others. In an interview with musician/producer/songwriter Artie Wayne, Talmy says "I'm a hands-on producer, meaning that I always work with the artist on choosing material, doing the arrangements, getting musicians if necessary, choosing the studio and being there for the entire production on through the mixes and mastering." He took the same approach with The Waymores. Once in Los Angeles, the session was engineered by Grammy award winning guitar player, composer, engineer and songwriter Johnny Lee Schell whose tremendous resume includes work with Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, BB King and Delbert McClinton amongst others. Boston local Sir-Ken Celli and childhood punk rocker friend Marco aka @alwaysstoked challenged each other on Instagram to individually write and post a new song every day—quick, off the cuff, fun and short enough to be shared on IG. The songs, originally just a fun little exercise, quickly gained momentum and fulfilled their purpose of keeping both parties' minds busy and engaged during uncertain times.This went on for the initial stages of the lockdown as a way to stave off insanity and entertain themselves. Several months later, Marco enjoyed the tunes so much, that he suggested to Sir-Ken that they record the songs he had written, just for fun, and to do it entirely DIY, remote & from the comfort of home. Sir-Ken didn't hesitate to jump at the opportunity to collaborate on a musical project, which featured recording with his homie for the first time. The result was a collection of 11 songs + 11 music vids that became AF’s first album, titled “No Cap”, with Sir-Ken in charge of vocals, string instruments, arrangements and sound design, while Marco recorded drums for all tracks in his basement in Denver, Colorado. With a sound that defies categorization, Adios Fatso blends elements of DIY, punk rock, and a broad musical sensibility fueled by dark humor and a dose of existentialism. Their music reflects the uncertainty and chaos of modern tech-based civilization, delivering a message loaded with cutting social commentary. This singer/songwriter is known for blending traditional country music with her own, unique style and attitude. Born in Dallas, TX, this proud native was destined for stardom from a very early age. She made her public debut at age 9 at her local church, Lake Fork Baptist. From there, the opportunities grew and she began singing at different area churches and local Opry’s close by. Some of her first venues were The Cotton Pickin’ Theatre in Point, TX, The Wylie Opry in Wylie, TX, Gladewater Saturday Night Opry in Gladewater, TX and many others that hold a very special place in her heart. She sang The National Anthem for the girls state basketball playoffs every year in high school, which was a huge honor and achievement early on thanks to the help of her superintendent Mr. David Seago. Billie Jo is one of most loved Texas Country Music favorites. She has shared the stage with artists: Deana Carter, Gene Watson, Linda Davis, Barbara Fairchild, The Oakridge Boys, Diamond Rio, Justin Moore, Wade Bowen, Pat Green, Stoney LaRue, Roger Creager, Sam Riggs, Bryan White, Jerrod Niemann, Josh Abbott, Wade Hayes, Adam Hood, Jason Eady, Courtney Patton, Jamie Lin Wilson, Chris Colston and many others. A personal highlight, was opening for Ray Price, one of her biggest inspirations and someone she listened to many times with her grandparents over the years. In 2022, Billie Jo was named Female Vocalist of the Year and Artist of the year for Texas Internet Radio Charts Awards and her band was named the Texas Country Music Showdown Winners in the Ft.
