  • On June 28th, 2023, the remains of a beloved mother, friend and daughter were found locked away in a storage unit in a suburb of Minneapolis, MN. Only days earlier, an eerily similar discovery was made at another storage unit in a separate suburb of St. Paul MN. This is the story of the disappearances and deaths of Fanta Xayavong and Manijeh "Mani" Starren. TRIGGER WARNINGS: intimate partner violence, dehumanizing treatment of a body, death and dismemberment.
