Does having a Virtual Assistant often lead to misconception about its capabilities and limitations?

I know most people have a lot to complain about their VAs but honestly, being in business for 10 years with a VA, 50% of the complaints or faults are attributed by the client.

What made me say that? In order for a relationship to work, it requires the effort of those 2 people involved. But what happens is that we have this misconception that our VAs can take over the business without proper handover, hence why some relationships don’t last and it leaves a bad impression on having VAs.
