  • Happy Wednesday, and happy NBA Draft Day (oh my God, there it is, he said the title)! Tonight, NBA teams will try to shape their futures, and in honor of that, John and special guest P. Funk look back at the 2008 draft, one in which John's favorite team had the #1 overall pick and in which Funk's favorite team won the night. Also, the two reminisce about how the Phoenix Suns trying to dump Kurt Thomas's contract paved the way for everything good that has happened to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a decade and a half, including reminiscing about how crazy it was that Paul George got traded for so many first-round draft picks and pick swaps all until like five minutes left when the Mikal Bridges trade broke and everything we thought we knew changed in an instance.
