  • Imagine a place where kids still grow up to become cowboys, where people live among wolves, and where losing a relative to a bear is something you should rightly worry about. Estelle and her sister Magaly tell us the story of their adventure in the Wild Canadian West. Far from being a regular outdoors experience, they discovered a world where the unexpected is the norm. It is a story in two parts about grit, solidarity, and self-awareness where the laws of nature apply to all animals. Humans included. In this second and last part, things go south. British Columbia declares the state of emergency because of major wildfires raging in the region. The airport from which Estelle and Magaly were supposed to fly back home gets destroyed, so the decision becomes obvious: stay, and take part in the fight.  You'll discover the behind the scenes of a community's battle against nature's most dangerous forces and you'll experience the (very) surprising turns this story took.  Enjoy the show!
