  • Our last episode of Season 1! The Walter E. Fernald School was initially created in 1848 to house mentally-disabled children and train them to lead productive, independent lives, but ended up becoming an abusive, sub-standard institution with horrifying conditions run by a proud advocate of the eugenics movement.
